Engineering Manager

Overview

Engineering Manager to architect and deliver scalable, reliable systems while mentoring and growing the engineering team.

What you'll do

• Architect scalable, available, reliable applications for critical complex problems.
• Set up best practices and identify continuous improvements in the product development lifecycle.
• Develop roadmaps and ensure timely execution and quality delivery.
• Manage stakeholders (designers, business analysts, product managers) with delivery plans and estimates in an Agile environment.
• Create clear career paths through regular, deep mentoring.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and share/seek feedback.

What you'll need

• 8-12 years of experience in product-based companies, preferably product startups.
• Strong grasp of scalable web back-end, streaming, and full-stack development.
• Experience handling production and performance issues.
• Deep understanding of technologies and architecture in highly scalable and available setups.
• Experience hiring and growing an engineering team and scaling the organization.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience developing, designing, and scaling complex systems horizontally and vertically.

Details

• Location: Mumbai, work-from-office with required presence five days a week.
