Engineering Manager II - Monetisation

Overview

Engineering Manager II to lead the Monetization Platform team, responsible for billing, reselling, and rebilling systems that process transactions, usage events, and related controls with high correctness.

What you'll do

• Lead the Monetization Platform team’s billing and reselling architecture.
• Manage the reselling and rebilling layer used for markups and reselling services.
• Oversee systems that flow transactions from subscriptions, plans, usage-based charges, and auto-recharges.
• Ensure high-throughput, highly available processing with zero tolerance for inconsistencies.
• Oversee fraud, abuse, and spend-control implementation including velocity detection, circuit breakers, and anomaly gates.
• Own architecture and delivery while partnering with PMs, Finance, Risk, Support, channel teams, and payment providers to keep money movement correct, auditable, and fast.
• Lead a team of experienced managers and/or senior engineers (8+).

What you'll need

• Real technical depth as an Engineering Manager.
• Ability to manage and lead a team of experienced managers and/or senior engineers (8+).
• Experience owning architecture and delivery.
• Ability to partner cross-functionally with PMs, Finance, Risk, Support, channel teams, and payment providers.
• Operational precision for billing correctness in high-consequence domains.
