Engineering Manager

Overview

Engineering Manager role focused on architecting and delivering scalable, reliable systems in a remote-first environment in India.

What you'll do

• Architect innovative, highly scalable, available, and reliable applications for critical, complex problems.
• Identify best practices and continuous improvement areas for the product development lifecycle.
• Develop roadmaps for system and product growth and ensure timely execution and quality delivery.
• Manage stakeholders (designers, business analysts, product managers) with delivery plans and estimates in an Agile environment.
• Mentor team members and create clear career paths through regular, deep mentoring.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and share/seek feedback.

What you'll need

• 8-12 years of experience in good product-based companies and preferably product start-ups.
• Strong grasp of scalable web back-end, streaming, and full stack development.
• Experience handling production and performance issues across platform technologies.
• Deep understanding of technologies and architecture in highly scalable and available setups.
• Expertise with highly transactional, large relational, and complex web/desktop systems.
• Experience hiring and growing an engineering team and scaling the organization.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
