Engineering Manager – Singapore

Overview

Engineering Manager role in Singapore leading a team of engineers to build and scale products used by millions across the region.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack development.
• Own engineering delivery for major product areas, focusing on speed, reliability, and technical quality.
• Partner with product, design, mobile, backend, and AI teams to convert ambiguous problems into technical execution.
• Drive technical architecture decisions across APIs, databases, integrations, infrastructure, and customer-facing systems.
• Set engineering standards for code quality, testing, observability, security, and production reliability.
• Monitor systems, resolve incidents, identify root causes, and prevent repeat issues.

What you'll need

• Strong software engineering background with experience building and shipping production systems.
• Experience leading/managing software engineers and owning engineering delivery.
• Technical depth across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to make sound architecture trade-offs balancing speed, scalability, and maintainability.
• Track record taking products/systems from idea through launch and production.
• Strong people leadership skills including coaching and performance management.
