Engineering Manager - Wealth Management App

Overview

Engineering Manager for Bjak’s Wealth Management App, leading a team to build and scale products used by millions across the region.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack development.
• Own engineering delivery for major product areas to ship quickly with reliability and technical quality.
• Collaborate with product, design, mobile, backend, and AI teams to convert ambiguous problems into technical execution.
• Drive technical architecture and engineering decisions across APIs, databases, integrations, infrastructure, and customer-facing systems.
• Set engineering standards for code quality, system design, testing, observability, security, and production reliability.
• Monitor production systems, resolve incidents, identify root causes, and prevent repeat issues.

What you'll need

• Strong software engineering background with experience building and shipping production systems.
• Experience leading/managing software engineers and owning engineering delivery.
• Technical depth across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.
• Track record of taking products/systems from idea through development, launch, and production.
• Comfort reviewing designs, challenging decisions, and debugging complex production issues.
• Strong people leadership for coaching, managing performance, and building high-performing teams.
