Engineering Mechanical Engineer

Overview

Engineer in the Simulation (FEA) department at Valeo, working primarily on finite element model generation and analysis of complex systems components.

What you'll do

• Generate and analyze finite element models of complex systems components.
• Perform static nonlinear simulation within ANSYS WB.
• Perform dynamic linear simulation in ANSYS WB.
• Execute preprocessing or basic CAD activities in CATIA.
• Perform FEA simulation calculations as per requirements.
• Interact with other divisions or units worldwide and establish a strong professional relationship with the customer.
• Guarantee the respect of best practices and standards; establish and capitalize on new standards when applicable.

What you'll need

• B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Aeronautical or Production Engineering (minimum degree).
• Self-sufficiency in theoretical knowledge of Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Design and Vibrations.
• Skilled oral and written communication.
• Skilled expertise in the related engineering discipline.
• Skilled in CATIA.
• Skilled in ANSYS WB.
• English (required language).

Nice to have

• AI usage knowledge to create scripts and agents.
• Optional languages: French, German, Chinese, Japanese, or Polish.
