Overview
The Engineering Projects Senior Manager – Capital Equipment Analytics leads development and delivery of equipment-focused analytics for global capital projects, and builds centralized analytics capability across the equipment lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Lead the development and scaling of centralized equipment analytics capabilities within AIN.
- Deliver data-driven insights across demand forecasting, procurement, delivery, installation, and reporting.
- Integrate equipment data with cost, schedule, and enterprise systems such as SAP.
- Build data models, digital tools, and reporting solutions to improve visibility into equipment demand, timing, and spend.
- Lead a high-performing team and ensure consistent, high-quality analytics.
- Partner with global project controls, procurement, and engineering teams to drive adoption and continuous improvement.
What you'll need
- Experience in digital procurement, supply-chain analytics, capital-equipment analytics, industrial/construction technology, enterprise software, or analytics product development.
- Knowledge of capital equipment procurement, equipment lifecycle management, demand planning, supplier performance, long-lead equipment, bid analysis, and delivery tracking.
- Experience with Source-to-Pay, purchase orders, supplier data, project schedules, cost systems, installation records, and equipment master data.
- Strong technical background in data engineering, databases, data structuring/modeling, data science/algorithms, APIs, system integrations, and cloud data platforms.
- Experience with analytics product management, data-product development, workflow automation, AI/ML, predictive analytics, and UI/UX.
- Exposure to tools/tech including Databricks, SAP, n8n, SQL, Python, R, GitLab/GitHub, VS Code, and React.
- Familiarity with data governance/master data management, data quality/lineage, and ETL/ELT and data pipelines.
Nice to have
- Documented experience understanding equipment delivery across projects.
- Strong experience using data analytics tools and systems including Power BI and SAP.
- Capital-project or construction experience.
- Pharmaceutical/biotechnology or other regulated-industry background.
- Strong understanding of equipment lifecycle processes, procurement workflows, and capital project delivery.
- Experience building data models, dashboards, and scalable analytics solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to drive standardization, process improvement, and adoption of analytics solutions.
