Overview
Engineering Specialist role focused on customer project engineering for electrical control cabinets and panels, covering the full lifecycle from concept/design through FAT and site support when required.
What you'll do
- Design and develop control panels and electrical cabinets for Bently Nevada vibration monitoring systems to IEC/UL or equivalent standards.
- Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and panel GA and ordering drawings.
- Follow quality procedures and standard design processes to deliver defect-free designs on time.
- Coordinate with project engineers, vendors, and suppliers for technical clarifications, component approvals, and documentation.
- Interface with clients to address technical queries and design clarifications.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and design records.
- Handle multiple projects while meeting quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/instrumentation/electronics engineering (or equivalent).
- Relevant industry experience in hardware engineering for automation/electrical control panels.
- Strong cabinet and panel design experience for industrial applications compliant with international standards.
- Experience using CAD, E-Plan, and MicroStation for creating/revising/reviewing project drawings.
- Ability and willingness to travel for site surveys.
- Self-starter capability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
