Overview
As a Software Quality Engineer/Analyst, you will support the Clinical & Economic Research component development team by testing clinical methodology, analyzing healthcare claims data, and assessing complex clinical logic paths.
What you'll do
- Analyze and work with large sets of data, such as healthcare claims.
- Develop test cases and test data to meet specifications, clinical content definitions, and software implementation design and logic.
- Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze execution to identify abnormalities, and report defects.
- Design and develop automation frameworks and scripts, execute automated scripts, and analyze results.
- Participate in Scrum team planning sessions to identify dependency chains and task breakdowns, provide estimates, and outline the test approach.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher, completed and verified prior to start, from an accredited institution and two (2) years of experience; or High School Diploma/GED or higher and six (6) years of experience in the software industry.
- Three (3) years of combined experience creating software quality tests and/or data processing tests for non-GUI applications.
- Experience testing applications implemented using JAVA, SQL, and JSON technology.
Nice to have
- Experience analyzing and working with large sets of data, such as healthcare claims, insurance claims, and financial transactions.
- Experience working with an Agile team using the Scrum Framework.
- Three (3) years of experience testing applications or Java jars/libraries with no user interface using JSON and CSV datasets.
- Experience with healthcare-related data, including claims and billing, healthcare informatics, inpatient and outpatient data, and HIPAA requirements.
- Experience using Python/Java automation frameworks.
- Experience developing and executing test scripts using Java, Python, and SQL.
- Experience creating test preparation documentation and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience documenting test results, defects, and validation outcomes in accordance with established testing procedures.
Details
- Location: Remote - Connecticut.
- Travel may include up to 15% domestic/international.
