[ETA] 3 Junior Java Developer (1-3 years of experience)

Overview

Junior Java Developer role focused on building and maintaining Java-based web applications, including database/data modeling and automobile diagnostic data content.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based web applications.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment across the software development lifecycle.
• Create and manage automobile diagnostic data content and/or develop and optimize database schemas and data models (SQL, XML, JSON).
• Collaborate with customers and overseas vendors to support SW development projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using a problem-resolution approach.
• Work with diagnostic protocols (UDS, KWP, DOIP) and ODX/OTX standards and tools where applicable.
• Communicate effectively in Japanese and improve English through communication/training programs.

What you'll need

• 1-3 years of experience in software development involving design, implementation, and testing in Java full-stack web development.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming and working with databases.
• Solid understanding of JSON file handling and data manipulation.
• Fluency in Japanese (speaking, listening, and writing, including technical specifications).
• Good English communication skills and comfort communicating with foreign colleagues.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technologies, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
