ETL & Database Developer (Informatica / Greenplum / Cloud)

Overview

ETL & Database Developer role focused on building and maintaining ETL pipelines and MPP database systems using Informatica and Greenplum/PostgreSQL, with exposure to cloud data platforms.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflows using Informatica.
• Build, optimize, and tune SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models in Greenplum/PostgreSQL.
• Work with cloud-based data platforms including Amazon Redshift and Snowflake.
• Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and compliance with data governance standards.
• Troubleshoot ETL failures by analyzing root causes and applying timely fixes.
• Perform production support activities such as batch/job monitoring and incident triage.

What you'll need

• 8–10+ years of experience in Informatica ETL development, database engineering, or data integration.
• Strong experience with Greenplum or other MPP systems.
• Exposure to cloud data warehousing platforms such as Redshift and Snowflake.
• Experience with financial services or large-scale, data-intensive environments.
• Linux shell scripting experience and familiarity with Git and CI/CD.
• Production support experience, job scheduling tools (Autosys/Control-M/Airflow), and incident management workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Airflow orchestration, Kafka streaming, or enterprise data quality frameworks.
• Knowledge of financial datasets including Transactions, Positions, and Corporate Actions.
• Exposure to monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
