Experienced Materials and Process Engineer focused on chemical/contamination work for the Sealants and Fuel Testing and Characterization team in Bangalore.

What you'll do

• Oversee operations of a chemistry laboratory for sealants and fuel quality testing and investigations.
• Lead and execute sealants qualification, testing, and development activities.
• Lead a team of technicians and scientists and provide mentorship and guidance.
• Communicate lab findings to stakeholders and translate technical information into actionable insights.
• Serve as an internal subject matter expert for fuel testing and analytical data analysis techniques.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate results and interpretations.

What you'll need

• 3+ years experience in analytical chemistry methods, including selecting the best test(s) to answer a question.
• 2+ years experience leading and managing laboratory teams.
• Degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology (including Production, Chemical Engineering, and Aerospace) or a directly related non-US equivalent.
• Experience with sealants and adhesives.
• Experience with fuel testing ASTM specifications and testing methods (ASTM D1655, ASTM D7566, ASTM D4054).
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
