- Perform periodic battery health tests (IR, discharge tests), UPS efficiency tuning, and firmware/config backup.
- Maintain Emergency Power Off (EPO) circuits, interlocks with gas monitoring systems, and fire alarm interfaces.
- Maintain clean/technical grounds separate from building ground; verify low-impedance paths and equipotential bonding for tools.
- Implement and audit ESD controls (SEMI S20.20 practices), wrist straps, surfaces, flooring resistance, and static-safe layouts in cleanroom and chase areas.
- Establish PM/CBM for panels, breakers, relays, STS, UPS, and IR thermography for hot spots.
- Trend MTBF/MTTR and create SPC charts for voltage, frequency, THD, and temperature rise.
- Lead RCA on trips/nuisance faults and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Maintain single-line diagrams, relay settings, test reports (IR, ER), and statutory compliance under CEA Regulations, Indian Electrical Safety Rules, and local inspectorate requirements.
- Integrate BMS/EPMS alarms and define SOPs for emergency shutdowns and controlled restarts.
- Operate and optimize MAUs/AHUs/FFUs, HEPA/ULPA filtration, pressurization cascades, temperature and RH controls.
- Maintain ISO 14644 cleanroom classes; track particle counts, airflow, and room recovery times.
- Handle filter life-cycle management, leak tests (DOP/PAO), duct hygiene, and IAQ.
- Tune coils, economizer modes, and dew point management to prevent condensation in bays/chases.
- Operate chillers (centrifugal/screw), cooling towers, primary/secondary pumping, and PCW loops for tools.
- Maintain temperature stability, ΔT, flow, and vibration on critical pumps; maintain N+1 for critical circuits.
- Manage water treatment: scaling/corrosion inhibitors, biocide control, blowdown optimization.
- Trend SPC on supply temperature, differential pressure, and specific energy consumption.
- Manage UPW/DI rinse loops, sanitization schedules, and return/reclaim strategies (if applicable).
- Operate oil-free compressors, dryers, and filtration to meet dew point and oil/particulate specs; maintain VMB/VMP pressures.
- Maintain central vacuum and dry pump systems for tools; plan overhauls, flushing, and pump swap programs with OEMs.
- Manage bulk/packaged nitrogen (N₂), vacuum-jacketed lines (if LN₂), and purges for tools and abatement.
- Maintain process exhaust, toxic exhaust, and general exhaust with redundancy and failure interlocks.
- Coordinate with fire detection/suppression (VESDA, clean agent where applicable) and ensure SEMI S2/S6/S8/S18 oriented risk controls.
- Create PM schedules for pumps, compressors, chillers, FFUs, filters, cabinets, scrubbers, UPW, and neutralization systems.
- Use BMS to alarm, trend, and report; deploy predictive maintenance (vibration, oil analysis, dew point trends).
- Maintain spares strategy for high-risk items (VFDs, AHU motors, pump seals, pH probes, sensors, HEPA/ULPA, MERV prefilters).
- Enforce PTW/LOTO, confined space, hot work, and chemical handling SOPs.
- Comply with Factory Act, Boiler Regulations (if applicable), Lift Act, local PCB norms for discharge, PESO/SMPV Rules for gas storage, and explosion-proof ratings where needed.
- Maintain MSDS/SDS, calibration certificates, and interlock validation records.
- Review PFD/P&ID, MEP/shop drawings, and hook-up packages; validate utility points, capacity, and interlocks.
- Coordinate FAT/SAT, commissioning, and as-built updates; manage change control and redlining.
- Plan shutdowns with clear MOPs (Method of Procedure) and rollback plans, particularly when tying into live loops.
- Maintain O&M logs, trend charts, equipment history, and SOP/EOP libraries.
- Generate MIS on uptime, incidents, energy use, water use, chemical use, and environmental KPIs (e.g., CUE/WUE).
- Track OEE, MTBF/MTTR, and SPC metrics for critical utilities and cleanroom performance.
- Manage AMCs for chillers, compressors, scrubbers, UPS, gas detection, and UPW; validate service reports, calibration certificates, and PM checklists; enforce spares and response SLAs.
- Conduct RCA with OEMs for chronic faults and implement design/controls improvements.
- Run toolbox talks and competency training (LOTO, toxic gas, electrical safety, ESD, cleanroom behavior).
- Lead HIRA/JSA, safety walks, and near-miss programs; maintain permit-to-work rigor.
- Interface with QA/EHS/Process teams to align operational windows with experiment schedules and risk profiles.
