Field Application Engineer

Overview

Serve as a customer-facing Field Applications Engineer providing technical consultancy, applications support, and techno-commercial guidance for electronic test and measurement solutions.

What you'll do

• Provide technical expertise on oscilloscopes, waveform generators, power supplies, battery testers, and related instruments.
• Advise customers on power converter testing, motor drive analysis, power quality, EMI/EMC, spectrum analysis, and energy storage applications.
• Drive technical stages of the sales cycle from prospecting through presentations, proposals, and closure.
• Build technical partnerships and act as a trusted advisor to key customers.
• Deliver training and applications support to solve customer problems.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and tradeshows.
• Capture customer feedback and share product enhancement input with internal teams.

What you'll need

• PhD or master's degree in Electronics Engineering specializing in power electronics.
• 2–8 years of industry or research experience.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics fundamentals, circuits, and SiC/GaN devices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to translate technical information into customer value propositions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Ability to travel for key customer meetings.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of C and Python programming languages.
