Overview
Field CTO who serves as a technical ambassador to enterprise customers, bridging MinIO’s engineering innovation with customer business needs.
What you'll do
- Advise C-level executives on the strategic value of high-performance object storage for AI readiness.
- Design and validate complex, large-scale enterprise architectures.
- Guide integration of MinIO into AI/ML pipelines and data lakehouse ecosystems.
- Represent MinIO at conferences, webinars, and meetups; publish technical whitepapers and posts.
- Partner with sales and customer success to support PoCs and large-scale deployments by unblocking technical objections.
- Act as “voice of the customer” by translating market and customer insights into product requirements.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of experience in technical leadership roles such as Enterprise Architect or VP of Engineering.
- Customer-facing or evangelist experience presenting to both technical audiences and C-level executives.
- Deep architectural understanding of generative AI/LLMs, including RAG workflows and vector databases (e.g., Milvus, Qdrant, Pinecone).
- Experience with AI/ML data pipelines and frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, Ray, and Hugging Face.
- Understanding of AI hardware bottlenecks, including GPU data starvation and how high-throughput storage addresses it.
- Expertise with open table formats including Apache Iceberg, Apache Hudi, and Delta Lake and their integration with object storage.
- Proficiency with query engines and compute frameworks including Trino, Presto, Apache Spark, Flink, and StarRocks.
- Strong command of Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native orchestration.
- Deep understanding of the AWS S3 API, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems design.
