Field Service Engineer 3 - MR - San Antonio, TX

Overview

Serve as a technical expert and primary customer-facing service representative for assigned medical equipment modalities in the San Antonio area. Resolve advanced service issues and support customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair assigned equipment.
• Install, validate, and maintain assigned equipment.
• Lead and coach less experienced Field Engineers.
• Own customer issues from dispatch through resolution.
• Communicate with customers and manage escalated concerns.
• Maintain service records, order repair parts, and manage cycle times.
• Support account growth by identifying sales leads and assisting with revenue programs.

What you'll need

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field, plus 4+ years servicing electrical equipment.
• Alternatively, equivalent military education plus 4+ years servicing electrical equipment.
• Alternatively, a High School Diploma/GED plus 8+ years servicing electrical equipment.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, or electronic equipment.
• Experience working with internal teams and external customers.
• Microsoft suite and web application experience.
• Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the U.S.

Details

• Remote position for the San Antonio area.
• Relocation assistance is provided.
• After-hours availability and rotating on-call work, including weekends, may be required.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds unassisted.
