Field Service Engineer 3

Overview

Serve as a senior field service engineer for medical equipment in the Orange County, California region. Troubleshoot, repair, install, maintain, and validate assigned equipment while leading customer issue resolution and supporting account growth.

What you'll do

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, repairs, installations, validation, and maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Lead and coach less experienced Field Engineers.
• Own customer issues from dispatch or identification through resolution.
• Lead customer communications and handle escalated concerns.
• Maintain service logs, internal records, repair-part orders, and cycle times.
• Coordinate corrective action plans with regional and national support teams.
• Support account initiatives, sales opportunities, and value-added services.

What you'll need

• 4+ years servicing electrical equipment with an associate's or bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Alternatively, 4+ years servicing electrical equipment with equivalent military education.
• Alternatively, 8+ years servicing electrical equipment with a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, or electronic equipment.
• Experience working with internal teams and external customers in a solution-based service process.
• Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns.
• Web application and Microsoft Suite experience.

• Location: Orange County, California region.
• Work mode: Remote.
• Annual pay range: $100,720–$151,080.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds unassisted.
