Field Service Engineer

Overview

Field Service Engineer providing on-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of Moog electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical and other control products, systems and solutions at customer locations.

What you'll do

• Provide comprehensive support for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, assembly/maintenance, and repair of Moog Electro-Hydraulic, Electro-Mechanical, and other Control Products/Systems/Solutions at customer locations
• Hands-on programming and configuration of PLCs, HMIs, and Graphic User Interface screens
• Support customers when they encounter problems via telephone and on-site visits
• Execute AMCs, I & C and service visits
• Draft electrical drawings using AutoCAD, Visio, and E-Plan
• Use electrical equipment (e.g., Megger, Oscilloscope) for diagnostic purposes

What you'll need

• B.E., Diploma or NTTF in Instrumentation & Controls, Electronics or Mechatronics
• 2-4 years of progressive experience
• Familiarity with brands such as Moog, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, B&R, Beckhoff, Omron, Delta, etc.
• Proficiency in industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet, Profibus/Profinet, Modbus, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Fieldbus interfaces
• Experience in reading electrical circuit and panel design
• Ability to work without supervision
• Well-organized and focused, with solid analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

• Drafting electrical drawings using AutoCAD, Visio, and E-Plan
• Any software coding skill
