Overview
Field Service Engineer supporting water treatment process equipment across engineering support, construction liaison, commissioning, and on-site operations.
What you'll do
- Participate in model reviews, engineering design meetings, and safety in design reviews for process equipment accessibility, maintenance, and operability.
- Perform control system factory acceptance tests (FAT) with clients and client-designated representatives.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions to improve operations and determine design viability.
- Serve as construction liaison between design engineering and construction teams during erection of water treatment plants.
- Develop and execute commissioning schedules and performance plans for water treatment plants.
- Commission plants to specified performance by ensuring equipment and control systems operate per specifications.
- Prepare technical reports and provide customer assistance for installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at customer sites.
What you'll need
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the water treatment field.
- Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma.
- Knowledge of structural, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, piping, welding specifications, and civil engineering notations.
- Expert knowledge of water treatment systems, including Reverse Osmosis, Ion Exchange, and Thermal systems.
- Strong water treatment chemistry knowledge and ability to apply engineering principles to troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Working knowledge of electrical equipment, control systems, and safety protocols for hands-on servicing.
- Valid passport and driver's license with ability to travel extensively (70–80%, ~250 days/year).

- Work setup includes site assignments that may involve accommodations at remote work camps.
- Pay range: $42.00–$46.00 hourly.
