Field Service Engineer - Centrifugal Compressor

Overview

Field Service Engineer (Centrifugal Compressors) coordinating and overseeing field-site work, including installation, commissioning, startup, and maintenance support.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and oversee customer field-site work and provide quality service.
• Provide planning for jobs, including instructions to the crew and equipment.
• Provide technical advice and support for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Baker Hughes-supplied centrifugal compressors.
• Unload, inspect, and place centrifugal compressor and major auxiliaries on the foundation.
• Carry out geometric dimensional checks, including positioning, levelling, and alignment.
• Perform installation, commissioning, and startup of centrifugal compressors (MCL, BCL, PCL, SRL) at customer sites.
• Perform minor and major inspections and assist with assembly/disassembly and clearance adjustments.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s engineering or full-time 3-year technical diploma.
• 5-10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Working experience with rotating equipment in the field at customer sites.
• Skills in functional/technical work, customer focus, communication, interpersonal interaction, and teamwork.
• Prior field installation and/or maintenance experience of centrifugal compressors.
