LCMS Field Service Engineer

Overview

Provide on-site field service support for customers’ LCMS TQ/Qtof and multi-vendor systems, including installation, maintenance, repair, and performance issue diagnosis.

What you'll do

• Support on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of LCMS and multi-vendor solutions.
• Install and optimize hardware, software, networking products, and customer site configurations.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance problems.
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that can impact product performance.
• Proactively respond to potential equipment or software issues to prevent unplanned customer business interruption.
• Deliver fully integrated solutions (implementation-focused) including peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software.
• Serve as an internal technical resource and help manage product escalations.

What you'll need

• Typically have at least 6+ years of relevant experience for this level.
• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent.
• Have post-graduate study, certification, and/or license may be required.
• Be able to obtain access to customer sites by meeting Agilent approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements.
• Be prepared to meet customer health and safety requirements, which may include identification and proof of certification.
