Overview
Field Service Engineer responsible for client-site servicing, repairs, and installations of company analytical instruments in an assigned territory.
What you'll do
- Perform client-site servicing, repair, and/or installation of company product(s).
- Provide technical support for operational and maintenance aspects of system equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures using established procedures.
- Determine cost-effective repair/resolution approaches to minimize customer downtime.
- Prepare reports analyzing product failure trends and service ability issues.
- Complete preventative maintenance, installs, and minor repairs for Delta or Perten instruments equipment.
- Coordinate with specialists on integration communication/security protocols and complete site surveys when required.
What you'll need
- Technical degree or equivalent work history.
- Travel approximately 80% including overnights (usually not including weekends).
- Knowledge of GMP and Plant Safety Protocols.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer satisfaction focus.
- Ability to follow written/verbal directions and read technical bulletins/service manuals.
- Licensed driver.
- Ability to operate a personal computer to enter data and generate reports.

- Field remote territory covering OH, MI, IN, KY, and PA, with most clients located in or near OH.
- Preferred base: near Columbus, OH; ideal candidate located in coverage states.
- Office coordination with Springfield, IL for field activities.
- Systems used: ServiceMax, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams.
