Field Service Engineer - Gas insulated switchgear

Overview

Field Service Engineer focused on installing and commissioning Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) for HV services on site.

What you'll do

• Perform installation and commissioning site activities for GIS-HV services per contract requirements and time schedule.
• Coordinate on-site activities to ensure availability of required materials, equipment, and manpower.
• Supervise installation personnel and ensure installation work is carried out in perfect technical order.
• Ensure compliance with installation requirements and accident prevention measures, including work guidelines for live system components.
• Support testing of installed and commissioned products and provide input to the design team for modifications.
• Verify application of the quality control plan and safety equipment usage by subcontractors.
• Coordinate customer documentation and provide stakeholder updates on installation & commissioning progress.

What you'll need

• Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical) with 5–7 years of experience.
• BE (Mechanical/Electrical) with 3–4 years of experience.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• Ability to manage installation planning on-site to identify bottlenecks in time and implement measures to meet deadlines.
