Field Support Engineer II

Overview

Provide field service support for Carl Zeiss Meditec instrumentation across an assigned East Texas territory. Install, repair, upgrade, and maintain equipment while supporting customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair designated products.
• Perform preventive maintenance, installations, and upgrades.
• Schedule and modify customer visits based on customer needs.
• Submit daily field service reports.
• Submit weekly expense reports.
• Maintain and return spare parts inventory.
• Instruct customers on equipment operation and maintenance.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of related experience in electronics, fine mechanics, optics, or medical field service.
• Strong computer skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to complete required training for fine mechanics and optics.
• Project and time management skills.

Nice to have

• BS in electronics, engineering, computer technology, or a related field.
• A+ certification.
• Net+ certification.

Details

• Remote role in the USA, serving the East Texas Region.
• Customer-site field service work is required.
