Field Technical Engineer (FTE)

Overview

A regional, field-based Field Clinical Engineer role in Abbott's Electrophysiology (EP) Division, providing clinical and technical support on the EP portfolio across the Czech Republic.

What you'll do

• Provide expert clinical consultation, teaching and support on the use of all EP products and their appropriate application in the clinical setting.
• Maintain up to date technical and clinical knowledge of current and new therapies and technologies within the therapy area, including competitor devices, as well as a general understanding of the dynamics of the country healthcare market.
• Conduct product presentations and perform stand duty at exhibitions when requested, responding to technical questions that might be raised by the team or customers.

What you'll need

• University degree in Biomedical engineering or a Science related field (ideally).
• Electrophysiology/cardiac rhythm management or equivalent clinical experience (ideally).
• Native Czech and very good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and customer focus.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time and ability to work autonomously.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Driving license B (a must).

Nice to have

• Cardiac anatomy and physiology knowledge.

• Regional, field-based role requiring daily travel across the territory of the Czech Republic.
• Preferred candidate location is within the Moravian region, preferably Ostrava or nearby cities.

• Work shift: Standard.
• Travel: 75% of the time.
