Field Engineer, Healthcare & SLED

Overview

Field Engineer for Healthcare & SLED, acting as the technical face for prospective and strategic enterprise customers and guiding proofs of concept.

What you'll do

• Partner with AEs to run technical discovery, demos, POCs, and technical validation for new deals and expansions.
• Build trusted relationships across engineering, security, product, and IT stakeholders.
• Operate in mission-critical and high-security environments, including developer workflows and AI tooling.
• Connect Cursor to outcomes such as developer productivity and secure software delivery.
• Deliver technical presentations, whiteboards, and workshops for technical and executive audiences.
• Advocate for customers internally with Product and Engineering.

What you'll need

• Strong communication skills and executive presence, able to present to CTOs, CISOs, and program leaders.
• Understanding of the SDLC and ability to link technical details to mission/operational impact.
• Hands-on technical fluency with workflows, AI tooling, and complex/constrained environments.
• Strategic deal-partner instincts to co-own with AEs across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in Field Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales, or Consulting, ideally in federal/defense or highly regulated tech.
