Field Technical Engineer

Overview

Field Technical Engineer in the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Division, providing technical support to customers for Abbott Medical products across Portugal.

What you'll do

• Achieve sales and units per plan.
• Provide technical support of equipment and assistance over the whole national territory to physicians.
• Support physicians during the enrolment and follow-up phase of clinical studies, and collaborate with the Therapy Marketing Group in those studies.
• Perform product presentations.
• Provide support to Sales and Tenders Team.
• Analyze competitors' devices and maintain the marketing database.
• Attend and complete all necessary training concerning the use of new products.
• Ensure all Abbott Medical standing Quality Procedures and EMEAC Business Ethics, Regulatory and Quality procedures are followed.
• Provide market information to the Sales Department.
• Produce monthly reports on personal activities.
• Represent the Company in a professional manner and with the highest integrity.
• Proactively plan weekly travel schedule and communicate it through the appropriate channels.
• Keep immediate manager informed of business progress and activities.
• Assist manager in building the yearly implant plan.
• Give support to other regions if necessary.

What you'll need

• University degree in an area of Health sciences.
• High level of English and Portuguese.
• Willing to travel extensively.

Nice to have

• Medical background.

Details

• Location: Portugal, remote (Lisbon/Portugal referenced in the description).
• Travel: 50% of the time.
• Work shift: Standard.
• Significant work activity: continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day).
• This position is in contact with customers.
