Finance Manager, Engineering – Pune Design Center

Overview

Finance Manager supporting the Pune Design Center and Global Engineering and Technology Finance team. The role provides financial leadership, analysis, planning, and decision support for engineering programs and investments.

What you'll do

• Evaluate new programs using financial models to analyze payback and returns.
• Analyze Pune Design Center performance and deliver insights on project timing, quality, and budget.
• Manage annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, monthly business reviews, and strategic plans.
• Coordinate as the Pune Design Center finance liaison with FP&A, Brand Finance, and GSC Finance.
• Develop financial processes that improve transparency around Engineering ROI.
• Review project business cases for financial viability, strategic alignment, and data accuracy.
• Provide SG&A and CAPEX insights on resourcing, indirect spend, and investments.

What you'll need

• 10 years of relevant financial experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• High business acumen and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and manage projects.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and develop financial processes.
• Working knowledge of ERPs, financial reporting systems, BA&R, HFM, and Power BI.
