Overview

Financial Model Engineer (Vice President) role in Quantitative Analytics Engineering, focused on building financial models and scalable Java software for risk management analytics.

What you'll do

• Design and build scalable, modular software components for quantitative analysis and financial modeling.
• Implement analytics for performance and risk engines and variable high-volume data processing pipelines.
• Integrate quantitative models with a software ecosystem by working with analysts, modelers, and developers.
• Enhance performance of existing models so they operate efficiently at scale.
• Participate in architectural and design decisions and facilitate design/code review sessions.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools with appropriate controls to improve delivery speed and quality.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience in Java-based full-scale production software development and design.
• B.Tech or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and production troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with software testing and ambition for providing high-quality products.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (analysis, design, development, testing) and basic understanding of Agile/Scrum.
• Experience using AI assistants (e.g., coding copilots) with strong awareness of data privacy, IP, and responsible use.
