Overview

Fire Post-Sales Technical Specialist 2 designs Fire Alarm Systems to customer/account standards and building codes, aligned with NFPA 72.

What you'll do

• Execute fire alarm design projects independently across the full lifecycle.
• Design Fire Alarm Systems according to local codes and standards.
• Review MEP drawings and tender specifications to identify fire alarm requirements.
• Complete input studies, raise RFIs, and follow the defined input checklist process.
• Prepare fire alarm layouts and the engineering BOM.
• Deliver quality-assured, defect-free fire alarm drawings on time.
• Follow processes and guidelines to meet project timelines.

What you'll need

• BE in Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronics/Electronics & Communication.
• 4-10 years’ experience in a relevant field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Domain knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems.
• Ability to perform hardware detail design, engineering, application development, battery calculations, and voltage drop calculations.
• Knowledge of NFPA 72, IBC, and relevant codes/standards.
• ACAD hands-on experience.

Nice to have

• NICET Level I & II certification.
• Simplex product certification.
• Simplex product knowledge.
