Firmware Engineer

Overview

Firmware Engineer responsible for embedded firmware that configures, controls, and monitors Ethernovia networking devices and integrates it into the company SDK for safety-critical automotive applications.

What you'll do

• Develop embedded firmware for Ethernovia networking devices.
• Configure, control, and monitor communication device operation.
• Interact with the host system via device drivers to expose device hardware features.
• Own firmware architecture, design, implementation, testing, and integration.
• Build ground-up firmware for safety-critical automotive applications.
• Follow functional safety requirements and best development practices.

What you'll need

• Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Software or related field.
• Provide 3 years work experience for a mid-level position or 7 years for a senior-level position.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (architecture, implementation, testing).
• Be proficient in C/C++ programming.
• Have experience with firmware (preferably for Ethernet communication devices).
• Have experience integrating and testing firmware and low-level code.
• Have hands-on experience with hardware and embedded processors (preferably for Ethernet communication devices).
