Flow Assurance Engineer

Overview

The Flow Assurance Systems Engineer is part of the Process Engineering and Automation team within the Chevron ENGINE Center, responsible for flow assurance work in capital projects and base business optimization support.

What you'll do

• Deliver flow assurance technical studies under the direction of a senior flow assurance systems engineer
• Assist with the execution of flow assurance work scopes during conceptual engineering, front-end engineering design, and detailed engineering studies
• Provide flow assurance deliverables for optimization and troubleshooting of base business
• Support flow assurance aspects of project pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and transition to normal operations
• Engage with various stakeholders to consolidate work processes from multiple locations into a centralized system
• Use relationships and alignment skills to standardize and optimize work products and processes
• Work closely with different functions within TPE and Base Business
• Provide defined mentoring scope for junior Flow Assurance engineers

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a deemed/recognized (AICTE) university
• Demonstrated capacity and capability to develop technical depth in thermodynamics, transport phenomena, and chemistry
• Demonstrated capability on Flow Assurance modelling tools, such as OLGA, Pipephase/Pipesim, PVT sim, Multiflash

Nice to have

• 5-10 years of experience in flow assurance
• Past experience in Process Engineering with exposure to Flow Assurance could be considered
• Experience on major capital project support through various phases, and/or trouble shooting and process monitoring of existing operations
• Experience and knowledge using Flow Assurance modelling tools, such as OLGA, Pipephase/Pipesim, PVT sim, Multiflash

• Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
• Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday, which may evolve based on operational or business requirements
