Overview
The Process Engineer supports the Integrated Production System Optimization (IPSO) process and analysis across Chevron’s Shale and Tight assets. The role is part of the Facilities Process Engineering team and partners with multi-discipline teams to develop solutions and deliver required outputs in Digital Packages.
What you'll do
- Utilize Chevron and Industry Engineering Standards.
- Use a minimum functional objective (MFO) approach and utilize the variance process to challenge Chevron standards when appropriate.
- Complete hydraulic models and process simulations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct feasibility studies and troubleshoot operational challenges within standard facilities and gathering systems.
- Participate and contribute to safety reviews, including HazOps and HazAn, as applicable.
- Provide guidance for technical inquiries and issue technical recommendations.
- Troubleshoot equipment and systems.
- Improve engineering tools and support the development and improvement of process engineering work processes.
What you'll need
- 3+ years minimum of site-based facility experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering (B.E.) from a deemed/recognized (AICTE) university.
Nice to have
- 5-10+ years of Oil & Gas or Petrochemicals industry experience.
- Experience designing small capital projects in onshore, upstream, oil and gas facilities.
- Chemical Engineering.
Details
- Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
- Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Working hours may evolve based on operational or business requirements.
- Work hours are aligned to business needs because Chevron ENGINE supports global operations.
