Food & Beverage Program Manager

Overview

Manage food and beverage catering operations for a JLL cafeteria, covering food preparation, cooking and service to agreed standards, cost control, safety compliance and event planning.

What you'll do

• Prepare, cook and serve food according to agreed standards and specifications.
• Ensure the calorie count of each food item served is displayed.
• Prepare and plan events on special days such as VIP visits, conferences and festivals.
• Gather staff and employee feedback through the cafeteria online survey to identify strengths and improvement areas.
• Monitor the budget and identify cost-saving opportunities across stocks, team members and company assets.
• Prepare the F&B operational manual or handbook.
• Take part in the weekly call with all café SPOCs and FMs to discuss operational challenges, and advise on daily operational challenges.
• Ensure catering operations, from food and raw material specifications to equipment, are safe, secure and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct work and food safety audits as a preventive approach.
• Prepare the surprise cafeteria monthly audit calendar and share it with the line manager.
• Drive initiatives to reduce food waste across all cafeterias.
• Convey messages in client meetings, formal presentations with senior management, technical reports and training materials, and train staff on new initiatives.
• Generate operational policies and strategies, and carry out audits by observation, interview and sampling of documentation and records.
