Forward Deployed Engineer, Life Sciences

Overview

Forward Deployed Engineer for the Life Sciences vertical, embedded in a customer’s environment to build and deploy production-grade AI workflows on Domino.

What you'll do

• Master Domino platform mechanics and core user/admin functionalities during Day 0–30.
• Shadow the customer environment and pair with a senior Forward Deployed Engineer.
• Execute independently on a prioritized backlog by Month 6.
• Build and deploy production-grade solutions across the MLOps lifecycle (development, deployment, and monitoring).
• Advise data science teams on Domino best practices.
• Lead and advise key accounts by Year 1 and translate field intelligence into product feedback.

What you'll need

• Deep proficiency in Python (primary).
• Familiarity with SQL, R, and Bash.
• Experience with Kubernetes/managed K8s (EKS, AKS, or GKE), Docker, and cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Ability to troubleshoot networking, compute, and platform issues.
• Proven track record delivering machine learning workflows, model deployment/monitoring, GPU workloads, and generative AI or agent frameworks.
• Experience operating within highly regulated or constrained environments.
