Forward Deployed Strategist

Overview

Own strategic customer engagements from initial workshop through delivery, combining executive relationship management, technical scoping, configuration, and adoption of AI-native workflows.

What you'll do

• Scope FDE projects with executive sponsors and define time-boxed deliverables with clear ROI.
• Lead technical discovery and architecture reviews to validate feasibility.
• Configure workflows, settings, integrations, and platform tooling alongside FDEs.
• Run hands-on training and build playbooks to drive customer self-sufficiency.
• Adjust scope when technical constraints emerge during delivery.
• Escalate product gaps and customer pain to Product and Engineering.
• Own executive relationships from kickoff through handoff.

What you'll need

• 6+ years in Solutions Architecture, Deployment Strategy, technical consulting, or technical Engagement Management.
• Experience owning scoping and delivery with a technical team in AI-production workflows.
• Strong understanding of agentic coding and LLMs in production.
• Hands-on familiarity with Cursor workflows, integrations, and platform configuration.
• Ability to read Python or JS/TS and partner with an FDE.
• Experience shipping AI-native workflows beyond the prototype stage.
• Executive presence and technical credibility with engineering leaders.

Nice to have

• Domain experience in FSI, insurance, telecom, high-tech, healthcare/life sciences, or semiconductor.
