Full Stack (Angular-Java) - Director - Software Engineering

Overview

Director-level Full Stack (Angular–Java) role on Morgan Stanley’s FORT (Risk Technology) team to support an FS analytics platform used by clients.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and test end-to-end multi-tier web applications.
• Build modern user interfaces and REST APIs.
• Work on data models, data management, and data exchange APIs.
• Develop and implement microservices and scalable application architecture.
• Implement metadata- or configuration-driven solutions and support relational databases.
• Provide rotational post-production support and manage multiple priorities.

What you'll need

• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong Java full-stack development experience.
• Front-end development skills using Angular, JavaScript, and CSS.
• DBMS expertise including schema design, SQL authoring, and performance optimisation.
• Experience across software development and system implementation life cycles.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and Excel.
