Fund Accounting Analyst 1

Overview

Fund Accounting Analyst 1 responsible for invoice processing, net asset value (NAV) calculation, and accurate accounting records for selected clients in fund accounting workflows.

What you'll do

• Prepare and review invoice processing received from vendors.
• Ensure accurate net asset value (NAV) calculations and maintain accounting records for selected clients.
• Complete daily work in compliance with internal controls and procedures.
• Report and escalate potential issues and breaches to appropriate departments and managers.
• Collaborate with reconciliations and fund accounting teams.
• Assist seniors with performance data, trackers, and KPI updates.
• Document processes and SOPs, and train new members; meet SLAs.

What you'll need

• 2-4 years of experience in fund accounting, expense reporting/accounts payable, and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of capital markets, including mutual fund and hedge fund industry.
• Good accounting knowledge is required.
• Experience preparing calculation files as per requirements and working with accruals vs P&L accounting concepts.
• Knowledge of capital market, custodian, and accounts payable including accrual and P&L concepts.
• Prior experience in BPO/captive on capital markets back-office processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
