Gen AI Engineer

Overview

Gen AI Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable software components, with ownership across engineering and operational issues.

What you'll do

• Provide input to assist with evaluation of new technologies and contribute to service design, lifecycle management, and total cost of ownership.
• Contribute to research and proof-of-concept initiatives for new technologies.
• Assist with code review and design review, and write, organize, and maintain code based on designs.
• Deliver high-performance, scalable, repeatable, and secure deliverables with guidance.
• Participate in construction, automation, debugging, and implementation activities to meet architectural and operational requirements and best practices.
• Support disaster recovery planning and disaster recovery activities and participate in functional integration and regression testing, including automating test scripts.
• Resolve technical issues, monitor system capacity, search and understand metadata about data sources and metrics, and adhere to change and incident management standards.

What you'll need

• 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of software development experience.
• Familiarity with current and emerging technologies within the scope of responsibility.
• Proficiency in at least one computer language.
• Understanding of distributed programming applied to their domain.
• Knowledge of data structures in the chosen programming language and how to apply them.
• Ability to stay current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education.
