Software Engineer - Infrastructure

Overview

Software Engineer - Infrastructure to maintain and evolve a production platform running distributed microservices and AI agent workloads.

What you'll do

• Maintain platform stability for distributed microservices on Kubernetes and cloud providers.
• Manage Kubernetes workloads with ArgoCD (GitOps), including deploys, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Debug and resolve Kubernetes issues across clusters.
• Run CDN and edge infrastructure using Cloudflare for performance, caching, and traffic management.
• Own observability (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and New Relic) and improve monitoring, alerting, and tracing.
• Participate in on-call using PagerDuty for incident response and root cause analysis.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of software/platform engineering experience with production systems.
• Strong proficiency in Go or Python, with production code in at least one.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying services on Kubernetes.
• Experience with GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD or Flux.
• Networking/DNS fundamentals including TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, and connectivity debugging.
• Linux/OS fundamentals and debugging using tools like strace, tcpdump, and netstat.
• Infrastructure stack experience including observability tools (Grafana/Prometheus/Loki) and/or New Relic.

Nice to have

• Experience building Kubernetes operators using kubebuilder, operator-sdk, or controller-runtime.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Infrastructure and AI/LLM knowledge such as token management, cost tracking, and agent orchestration.
