Overview
Global Indirect Procurement Specialist - Travel & Fleet is an individual contributor role based in India within 3M’s Global Capability Centre (GCC).
What you'll do
- Lead global sub-category management for Fleet Cars, Fleet Services, Leasing Providers, Travel Services, and Meetings & Events.
- Develop and implement global sub-category strategies for continuity, resilience, cost savings, and value creation.
- Manage supplier selection, relationships, negotiations, scorecards, performance reviews, and contract administration.
- Drive supplier consolidation and improvements in profitability, free cash flow, and working capital via strategic sourcing and negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including EWS Travel, Fleet leaders, Finance, and regional teams.
- Ensure suppliers deliver competitive pricing, quality, service levels, and compliance with policies.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
- 10+ years of combined sourcing, procurement, and supply chain experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- Strong supplier relationship management skills.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Results-driven, detail-oriented approach with project management excellence.
