Procurement Specialist

Overview

Procurement Specialist in the 3rd Party Manufacturing team, responsible for creating and implementing pack out services category strategies and managing complex supplier relationships.

What you'll do

• Create and implement AMERICAS Pack Out Services category strategies.
• Lead negotiations and manage complex supplier relationships.
• Support effective NPI launches as part of procurement efforts.
• Drive cost reduction and process improvement using data and analytics.
• Lead supplier selection and act as the primary point of contact for 3M.
• Solve sourcing and supply challenges including dual-sourcing and category strategy.
• Negotiate agreements such as VMI, consigned materials, and formula-based pricing.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
• Overall 7+ years of professional experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, and/or Manufacturing.
• Experience in procurement including third-party manufacturing or similar environments.
• Strong negotiation and contracting skills.
• Experience with third-party manufacturing or similar environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
