Direct Sourcing Lead – APAC

Overview

Lead direct sourcing for a local portfolio of suppliers at Cytiva, accelerating supplier performance across Quality, Cost, Delivery and Security.

What you'll do

• Develop, communicate and execute sourcing strategies for a local portfolio of suppliers, ensuring cost efficiency, quality and delivery performance.
• Drive ongoing supplier optimization and continuous improvement.
• Participate in New Product Introduction projects as well as activities related to quality and fulfilment.
• Perform continuous monitoring and development of suppliers together with Supplier Delivery Leaders and Supplier Quality.
• Act as local escalation point for buyers in case of poor delivery performance from suppliers.
• Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers.
• Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services and supplies for customer-related business processes or for internal use.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Production Technology, Logistics or High school with minimum 7 years work experience from Sourcing or relevant Supply Chain role.
• Work experience from Sourcing or relevant Supply Chain role.
• Ability to manage and develop supplier relationships.
• Ability to connect well with all levels within an organization and a track record of delivering on commitments.
• Analytical mind and data driven.
• Willingness to travel.

Nice to have

• Experience working with ERP systems, e.g. Oracle.
• Previous experience in Oracle BIOPROD ERP.
• Previous experience in Magic PDM.
