Global Internal Controls Analyst

Overview

Manage and improve the global internal controls environment, support SOX compliance, and oversee finance technology and risk initiatives.

What you'll do

• Manage changes to the internal controls environment and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Report control implementation, deficiencies, and framework updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Manage control documentation and compliance reporting in Workiva W-desk.
• Facilitate quarterly SOX Section 302 certifications and annual fraud risk assessments.
• Review SOX testing, control operations, remediation efforts, and audit documentation.
• Partner with internal and external auditors on testing and deficiency conclusions.
• Lead controls assessments, risk evaluations, remediation monitoring, and continuous improvement.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of experience in Big 4 public accounting, ERP implementations, and architecting control environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related major.
• Strong knowledge of SOX Section 404, US GAAP, SEC reporting, PCAOB, COSO, and Internal Audit standards.
• Experience establishing SOX control environments covering financial, operational, and technology objectives.
• Strong influencing, leadership, project management, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple entities, and present to senior leadership.

Nice to have

• CPA and/or CISA certification.
• Experience with SAP, HRIS, PwC Enterprise Insights, and HFM systems.

Details

• Location: Pune, India.
• Remote work is an option, subject to agreement with the manager.
• Travel is a few times per year and no more than 10%.
