Overview
Global Partner Solution Engineer supporting Cisco and Splunk solution development, partner enablement, and strategic technical engagements with global solution integrators, customers, and internal sales teams.
What you'll do
- Develop strategic plans integrating Cisco and Splunk technologies into partner solutions and services.
- Lead executive discussions, customer workshops, demonstrations, whiteboarding, and solution design activities.
- Build partner technical practices and Centers of Excellence through enablement, certification, and resource activation.
- Drive partner-led demand generation, cross-sell, up-sell, and competitive displacement strategies.
- Collaborate with account, product, business, and sales teams on deal strategy and technical requirements.
- Create technical assets, demos, webinars, and enablement content for partners.
- Lead virtual technical teams through complex sales cycles and strategic opportunities.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales, solutions engineering, consulting, partner engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role.
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years, master's degree with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years of related experience.
- Experience designing and presenting technical solutions to customers, partners, and senior stakeholders.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions across complex technology environments.
- Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in cloud, ITOps/observability, security, big data, edge, IoT, IIoT, or related domains.
- Hands-on expertise in at least two listed Cisco, Splunk, cloud-native, Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, infrastructure-as-code, or microservices technologies.
- Experience building technical practices, partner capabilities, or Centers of Excellence.
- Experience delivering technical workshops, webinars, demonstrations, or external industry presentations.
