Job description

Overview

Lead global planning and analytics for service parts and supply chain, and build and manage a planning and analytics team based in India.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end global planning processes to ensure all parts are planned and procured on a timely basis to meet service, operational, and customer commitments.
  • Translate demand signals, service requirements, and business priorities into executable supply and procurement plans.
  • Proactively identify risks, constraints, and opportunities within the supply network and drive mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the alignment of fulfillment and stocking strategies for service parts, balancing service-level targets, inventory investment, and supply flexibility.
  • Define differentiated stocking strategies by part criticality, lifecycle, region, and service model.
  • Partner with Service and Operations teams to ensure consistent execution of global service parts strategies.
  • Drive automation and digitization of planning and analytical workflows, reducing manual effort and increasing scalability and accuracy.
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled tools and models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, scenario planning, and exception management.
  • Champion standardization of processes, data models, and metrics across regions and business units.
  • Leverage SAP platforms (e.g., S/4HANA, APO/IBP, or equivalent) to support integrated planning and execution.
  • Develop and govern BI dashboards and analytics (e.g., Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar) to enable real-time decision-making and executive visibility.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and alignment across planning, procurement, and fulfillment systems.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing planning and analytics team in India.
  • Establish clear roles, performance expectations, and career development paths for team members.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, analytical rigor, innovation, and accountability.
  • Serve as a global leader, effectively collaborating across time zones and cultures.
  • Act as a trusted partner to senior leaders across Supply Chain, Operations, Service, Finance, and IT.
  • Lead global planning governance, cadence reviews, and performance management routines.
  • Communicate complex analytical insights clearly to executive and non-technical audiences.

What you'll need

  • Digital and AI-first mindset.
  • Strong people leadership and cross-cultural collaboration.
