GPU IP Lead Emulation Model Build Engineer

Overview

Intel is hiring a GPU IP Lead Emulation Model Build Engineer to build and maintain functional emulation model environments for graphics logic, media IPs, and related verification work.

What you'll do

• Drive end-to-end standalone emulation model builds using graphics logic components, including 3D graphics and media.
• Maintain and improve existing functional verification infrastructure and methodology.
• Participate in defining verification infrastructure and TFMs for functional design builds.
• Collaborate with different EDA vendors to enhance emulation model builds.
• Develop and implement test plans and scenarios on emulation platforms to validate IPs/SoCs.
• Design and optimize test environments (e.g., stress stimuli and trackers) for verification.

What you'll need

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems).
• 8-15 years of hands-on experience in pre-silicon emulation model builds using different vendor platforms.
• Knowledge of emulation model builds/releases and the ability to analyze performance and size.
• Ability to use emulators such as ZeBu, Palladium, Veloce, or FPGA to run virtual machines for testing.
• Ability to use emulation software suites including Maestro, Metro-Maestro, and Supercollider.
• Experience architecting an IP test environment (checkers, monitors, test infrastructure, VC) using Verdi, VCS, and UVM/OVM.
• Working knowledge of scripting languages including Python, Perl, or Ruby.
