Emulation Engineer - Lead/Staff

Overview

Lead/Staff Emulation Engineer role focused on emulation and silicon validation for complex Qualcomm DSP IP and high-performance, low-power processors.

What you'll do

• Work in emulation and silicon environments.
• Use emulation platforms such as FPGA prototyping, Veloce, and Palladium.
• Apply emulation tools including synthesis, place and route, constraints, and clocking.
• Support system debug including waveform generation and content debug.
• Validate and debug digital circuits.
• Resolve complex issues with strong debugging and troubleshooting.

What you'll need

• 6-10 years of experience in emulation of processor/ASIC performance verification.
• Experience in micro-architecture validation for modern high-performance, low-power processors.
• Experience in writing tests and building infrastructure for performance testing of modern processors.
• Programming/scripting skills including C, C++, Perl, Python, Shell, and Make file TCI.
• Strong background in digital design, RTL design, and improving model performance and processor architecture.
• Minimum qualification options: Bachelor's (3+ years), Master's (2+ years), or PhD (1+ year) in relevant fields.
