Overview

Graduate role in Deutsche Bank's Private Bank, starting with an extensive training program before allocation to a desk in the Private Bank team in Mumbai.

What you'll do

• Support research (thematic, macro-economic, stock), investment management (idea generation, term sheets) and content management (marketing material, pitchbooks)
• Support lending and portfolio management, including credit review of Lombard and structured transactions, Real Estate Intelligence Unit, and Subscription Financing
• Support business performance reporting and analysis, including forecasts and budgets
• Support CLM and coverage, including periodic and event-driven reviews of WM clients and support to RMs and IMs
• Support resource management (headcount, cost, capital, liquidity)
• Support strategy and marketing, including competitor benchmarking and strategy presentations
• Support program management, driving global projects on operational, strategic and regulatory topics and tracking and communicating status, risks and dependencies
• Support risk and controls, including risk identification, assessment and mitigation, conduct, supervision, financial crime risk management and operational risk governance

What you'll need

• Strong financial, banking and risk understanding
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Use of MS Project and MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is critical
• Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Showing drive and initiative
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible problem-solver, open-minded to receive input from colleagues
• Ability to share and receive information, knowledge and expertise within a team environment
• Ability to work within virtual global teams in a matrix organization and across all levels of management and staff

Nice to have

• Exposure to AI, automation tools and emerging technologies (Copilot, Power Apps, VBA, etc.)
• Knowledge of data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau) and expertise in storytelling with data
