GTC Senior Discipline Engineer

Overview

GTC Senior Discipline Engineer to lead technical execution and problem-solving within an assigned engineering domain.

What you'll do

• Optimize resource allocation to achieve project budget commitments.
• Lead the technical execution of engineering projects, especially Newness levels 2–3.
• Use QRQC and Valeo methodologies to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Communicate complex technical solutions and challenges to internal and external customers.
• Share technical knowledge and best practices across teams and divisions.
• Provide technical coaching and mentorship to Discipline Engineers.

What you'll need

• Experience guiding critical problem solving within the discipline using standard methodologies like QRQC.
• Ability to develop and validate design standards for Newness levels 2–3.
• Involvement in executing the Discipline Digitalization Roadmap for process improvement and automation.
• Capability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and stakeholders from other disciplines.
• Experience in proposing innovative solutions and contributing to engineering challenges.
• Ability to identify patentable inventions and participate in patent filing.
